Those Other "N" Words

by Rick Williams

I love the feel of nakedness
and don't care who I tell.
I'll announce it to the world
and everyone else as well!

I wear t-shirts every day to work;
many with "Nudestock" themes.
They're my subtle way of saying,
"There's a nudist on your team!"

At first it was a common thing;
people would always wonder:
"Why would anyone want to see
what's usually hidden under?"

It isn't just about what you see
when you're only wearing shoes;
it's also about how you feel--
it helps you kick the blues!

Bodies differ so very much--
there are really no two the same;
so why should less than perfect ones
be made fun of and/or shamed?

I've had many experiences
of nudism over the years,
but never thought to share them;
perhaps acceptance fears?

Nobody wants to be ridiculed
about things they think or do.
Maybe I thought I'd be seen as odd
and taunting would ensue.

I'd like to think that everyone
is born a nudist at their core;
but alas, most kids are taught
to have those thoughts no more.

Instead, be sure to make it known
that you're a nudist too!
Share those thoughts with those you know--
I'll bet that some will envy you!

Working in the Shop

By Rick Williams

I like to do stuff in my shop,
but not like most folks do.
You see, I putter in the nude,
wearing nothing but my shoes!

It's a lot less trouble to clean dirt
from skin instead of clothes,
but all the hazards on the floor
mean shoes for feet and toes.

Folks would likely gasp wide-eyed
if they saw me working there;
especially when I'm grinding steel
with sparks near you-know-where!

In summer I get pretty warm--
even undressed all the way,
but I can't roll up the garage door--
I'd be a neighborhood display.

You know the double standard
about people with no clothes?
Yeah, women get away with it,
but men don't dare expose.

Someday someone may surprise
and catch me while I'm bare,
but I am willing to play the odds
they'll not catch me unaware.

I love that I don't have to hide
like many husbands do;
my wife occasionally visits me
because she's a nudist too!

Summer is My Thing!

by Rick Williams

Welcome to the summer heat!
(It's not for everyone...)
For me, though, it's a favorite--
It's when clothing turns to fun!

The choices that some people make
in what they choose to wear
tend to border on risque'
and filled with "...if you dare!"

It's a time for naughty dress
for those that like to flaunt;
it's a time to show more skin
and make their clothing taunt!

A general lack of underthings
prevails in summer clothes,
and flip-flops, shoes, and sandals
reveal sexy, polished toes.

My favorites are the dresses
that blow when there's a breeze
with glimpses of what's underneath
that tantalize and tease.

Sure, winter, fall, and spring are good
with all the things they bring,
but give me summer any day;
bare skin is more my thing!

Is it Time?

By Rick Williams

Is it time? Is it time for baking
in warming rays the sun is making?

Is it warm enough to exchange or shed
the winter clothes for naught instead?

The End of Winter

By Rick Williams

The wafting floral essences
fill the countryside;
the warm air rolls throughout the car
while out for a springtime ride.

Peel off protection from the cold
and celebrate the sun!
Get rid of all the winter clothes,
and sun the naked buns!

Sun and Shade

by Rick Williams

How tragic it would be to have the love of your life actually allergic to the sun's embrace?
What else could you do but adjust and be appreciative?

Naked on a blanket there;
lying down, without a care.
He is baking in the sun
but she: alas, enjoying none.

Because sun on her does not agree,
and affects her skin so awfully,
she lies and rests within the shade--
ducking the sun she must evade.

She has to hide from steady rays
lest her skin rise up and health betrays.
Still, she loves the feel of clothing-free,
so does with help from a shady tree.

Though easier separate blankets might be,
they'd be out of each other's reach, you see.
So, their blanket must be placed just right--
placing her in shade while he's in light.

Still, she smiles and feels complete,
and revels in the lazy heat.
The sounds of birds are all around,
and whispering leaves add to the sound.

Idyllic there among the trees,
and cooled by nature's loving breeze.
She looks over at him lying near
and sighs--so glad that she is here.

Sunity

By Rick Williams

The rays of sun caress my skin
and wrap me in their glow.
It blesses me; I feel alive;
tingling from head to toe.

As summer's end grows closer
it once again sends forth
the signal to shed clothing
before winter winds of north.

The solar heat warms gently
and accompanied by breezes
the cooling effect of gentle wind
feels good on skin it teases.

All our bodies' little hairs
exposed when we are bare
are energized receptors
of the sun and breezes there.

People wear clothing since day one
and we never question why.
Most of us would never dream
of giving nudity a try.

The small amount of folks that do
know of its healing power.
It cleanses cobwebs from the mind
like taking a mental shower.

When temperatures are perfect
it's so nice to shed your clothes
But it makes a difference where you're at
before you do expose.

The best, of course, are places
out away from prying eyes.
Like forests, lakes, or beaches
with space and clear blue skies.

When finally the suns rays go
and getting dressed is near
it's hard to think that it might be
the last until next year.

This word of mine called Sunity
was invented just for fun.
You just take a little nudity
and sprinkle it with sun.

I Hate the Cold

My throat is sore,
and across the floor
a chilly breeze does blow.

My feet are cold;
I feel so old
when temperatures dip low.

The shining sun
is all but done;
it shines to be polite.

Not much appeal
or warmth to feel;
It's rays are naught but light.

The wood stove's heat
is hard to beat;
It's a winter friend to me.

Add homemade stew
to warm me through,
and comfortable I'll be.

Although these things
cut winter's sting
the summer is still the best.

The skimpy clothes;
the suntanned toes;
Ahhh... Comfortably undressed.

Pictures

By Rick Williams

I checked the web and found them still there
twenty-eight pics of me bare
from a few years ago
when I opted to show
everything to my friends lurking there.

It's the naturist in me I guess
that makes it a challenge to dress
I'd rather be bare
feeling breeze in my hair
It's a feeling that I hate to repress.

There's a little exhibitionist too
that came out when I'd allow them to view
I'd succumb to a dare
without even a care
and off all the clothing then flew.
